Model #2 is a three-dimensional approach to a series of graphic diagrams with scquare, rectangular, and circular units conforming negative and positive spaces that responded to undetermined mental schemes even though they reminded of urbanistic plans. Transforming a bidimensional diagram into a three-dimensional structure brought to the forefront the question of wether the composition functions as a model or a sculptural object. The work has qualities of a model, but it doesn’t represent a formation that exists on a bigger scale so that the object reveals itself in this undeterminacy.
